I have been really busy so far this year with repairing the damage to my son’s house from the fires and mudslides here in the Santa Barbara area. I’m finally done with that and realized I needed to update some of the information on the site. I am going to remove the supplement videos I made long ago. Supplements have changed a lot since I did those! I’ll do the new recommendations next, but, for now, I really recommend GreenMedInfo for all the natural health information backed up by scientific studies – honest ones, not like the ones the drug companies put out. It’s an amazing site with an enormous amount of information.

“Build Strong Bones.
Studies find a significant association between bone density and magnesium levels. But magnesium content of bones decreases with age. In addition, sugar and alcohol cause magnesium to be lost through the urine.
Magnesium assists calcium in building bone strength, but it does much more. It stimulates the hormone calcitonin. That helps draw calcium out of the blood and soft tissues and put it back into the bones. Too much calcium in the blood and tissues can increase the risk of arthritis, heart attack, and kidney stones, as well as osteoporosis.
And getting more magnesium may mean you need less than the government’s recommended 1,200 mg of calcium per day. One study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that increasing magnesium while lowering calcium to 500 mg per day was enough to increase bone density.”
So that is pretty much what I have been saying for the last ten years.
There has also been a new study of the bisphosphonate drugs that shows the drugs were not only ineffective in creating stronger bones but they actually created microcracks that weakened bone significantly. (Ma et al, 2017) This is after the patent expired and the drug companies have made billions for years on this stuff. Doctors are now pushing Prolia, which is the same poison but much stronger.
Meantime, over the last ten years, while I’ve been waiting for the drug scams to come to the surface, I have been experimenting with whole new areas of health with various tools of frequency, sound and light impregnated with information for our body-fields. It’s fascinating, but still very expensive.
I did discover something recently that I will try out on June 3, Potentiate Your DNA. I’m reading the book right now and he is doing a group potentiation on that date. You can check into that here. I have not recommended any of this so-called woo-woo stuff before because I have a very mixed audience here. The only thing we really have in common is weak bones. But, judging by the women I talk with on the phone, I think we are all seeing clearly that the present health system is broken – and that’s because the drug companies have run the medical schools and the FDA for years. When you make the kind of profits they are making you can buy the whole government – and they did!
Ten years ago I was afraid to say any of this because, first, the older ladies just loved their doctors and did whatever they said, and second, I was afraid BigPharma would send one of their thugs to my door. But I’m small potatoes, and now I’m too old to be scared.
So I have several more things to share and I’ll add some more blogs asap. The supplements one will be next. Off and on over the years I have taken handfuls of supplements or none or just a few, and I have come to the same conclusion as many experts. You don’t need most of them! But you do need to eat good, grow-your-own, or organic food! Everything else has been poisoned!
Dr Mercola, who I followed for years, has often said that he only takes half a dozen supplements himself but he sells about a hundred to anyone who will buy them.
This is a wacky new world we are living in, and what’s coming down the pike often looks very scary, so don’t get sucked into the doom and gloom. Hold a thought of a brave, new, safe and loving world and you’ll be helping to create it.
